$750 mistake
If you swap chips a lot you may want to install a breaker under the hood. Some people get lazy and don't want to unhook the battery. I just flick the switch on the breaker and swap chips. Nice and easy. It is a good idea to make sure your keys are out of the ignition in case you forget to unhook the battery. Some have gotten away with it, but better safe than sorry.

Not exactly on topic, but not completely off either since I will be changing chips at least once tonight at the track (and would like to learn from daryl's "experience" if at all possible): so long as i unhook the battery cable AND do not put my keys in the ignition at any time during the swap, then I have nothing to worry about, right? Thanks, later...
