Wish I could, Marcus, but until I get the shifting fixed it would just be a waste of time and gas.
Did you go on the ride yesterday? If so, how was it?

Famoso is right outside of Bakersfield. It'll be about an 1-2 hour drive for me from Chatsworth. I was up at Carlsbad Raceway not too long ago. Ran a 13.8 with a hot truck, and my window down (oops). They said there was a "bone stock 2001 L running 13.1's" up there, would that be you? Or do you know the driver? Anyways, hope you can make it. I don't get to race much at sealevel, so I'm going no matter what.

George, I sure hope you get that thing fixed. And No, I didn't get to make it on the cruise yesterday, I had the honor of being my dad's servant for Fathers Day, thank god it's only once a year!! Hey, what about a Son-Day???? I think it'd work.

No, it wasn't me running 13.1z. I don't think any bne stock Ls are running low 13z, especially at Carlsbad. I ran 13.89 at Carlsbad, hopefully that ET will drop @ Fomoso.

Cool

Marcus, I'm in. I have a couple of sales calls scheduled for Bakersfield on Friday afternoon. Thay way I can write off the trip. See ya there!

I wonder if there are any L's in Bakersfield that will be running.

By the way, I spoke with one of my customer's there today. It was about 100 degrees, but dry. Hope it cools off some in the evening, or it will be like running LACR with the thin air.

It should get down into the 80's by 9-10:00 PM.

I've been watching the weather reports. Humidity has been about 15-20%. I'm guessing that we should be running at about 2500 ft. corrected.

It won't be much faster thab LACR in April.

Danny, I'll be up there tomorrow on some sales calls. I believe Marcus be running also. Come on up, It'll be fun. I'm sure you can help us with some track tips too.

I've been running 13.90's at 99 MPH at LACR. Altitudes have been over 3000 ft. every time. My 60' times have been a consistant 2.03-2.04 on F1's. I guess my traction bars help. I'll pull them off after a couple of runs and you guys can try them. We'll se if they will reduce your 60'.

I'll be there with bells on!!! It's a real good thing I get off work early tomorrow, or else I wouldn't make it with traffic. Hey Mr. Swanson...would you like to test out any 2001 Chips if you have em??? I'd be your guy for that. See you at the races!

Marcus, wait until you see my new airbox. Cardboard and duct tape. Couldn't justify the alum. fab and welding until I see if the concept works.

I was running with my scanner hooked the other day, and found that my existing setup was only 10-12 degrees above ambient temp at 60 mph on a quick blast down the street.

That will only gain 1% Hp if I can get it down to ambient. A lot of work.

You guys will get a laugh!
