Talking My First Kill!

Was cruisin' along up the road from Chateau Elan(a local winery) and look in the rear view and there's a 93-95 model Lincoln Mark VIII right on my rear. Must have known about the L's. lol. Anyways, come up to a 4-way stop and no one is around except me and the Lincoln. I take off kinda slow and notice he just does a Cali-stop through the sign and is still on my rear. So I give it about 3/4 throttle and see him fading away.(break-in ya know) Gotta give him credit, he put up a good fight. Get up to 60 and back off since he was soooo far back by now! He catches up and flashes his lights in recognition of the White hot L and turns left. Don't know if it was a 32 valve car or not. I would guess so.
Thank God for people like John Coletti!

I too think silver is the fastest and most rare.

I have been looking for my first real kill, I have played around with some kids You know just about half throttle and they can't keep up. I don't count those. And the other day on the highway a honda thought he would push me gets on my *** at about 80 and stays there. I thought just go around you idiot, but he didn't. So I say ok fine, hit it and get to about 115 and can't see him anymore. Let off and about 5 minutes later he comes by I was doing about 80 he was probably doing 90. I thought what an idiot.

I don't count these as official kills, I am waiting for someone with something that could actually give me a run.

Good job on the kill and good hunting
Paul

My first real kill was a Honda Odessy van, this kid had a fart tub on it, 18" chrome rims and ground effects.

He kept staring at my truck as we were driving through a parking lot to the highway exit. He blew through a stop sign, I stopped and let the mustang pass, then just shot of to the far left lane. By the time I hit the 65 speed limit I was ahead.

2 or 3 months ago I had an encounter with a RamAir TransAm WS6 - my first real race. We stopped at a light and nobody was around, and the speed limit was 65. I gave him "the nod" at the light - I got a huge jump on him even after spinning them for about 5-6 feet, and I guess by 50 I could see him shifting trying to keep up - he was at my door. He finally starts to gain on me by about 90 and I shut off b/c there was a car in his lane up ahead and didn't want to make him slam his brakes or something...It was awesome. I think he wanted me to stop and talk, but I was too excited to tell what was going on - wether he was waving "good race" or to pull over, oh well. That was with only about 1500 miles - I can tell it has MUCH more power now than then.

Damn you guys are lucky, the only thing to race up here in the sticks is old logging trucks. That and Subaru Outbacks ,not real challenging huh?
Anyone else notice how slowly Volvo's and Subaru's are driven, or is just here?
