I hate my Lightning because it is the sweetest damn truck in the world! When I get to work, I find it difficult to get out after I have parked. The ride to work is too damn short now! After lunch I cannot think of anything except going out and driving that thing. The only mod I have so far (and I only have about 500 miles on the beast) is a metallic blue sun shade. I am beginning to think that this was the WORST investment I could have made in terms of attention span levels. I started hanging out with this 18 year old on the block cause he has a black f-150. I just stare at my truck, and my wife says I am wasting time just sitting outside. She is now jealous cause she thinks I like hanging out with the kid more than her....but it is the TRUCK!...
What can I do? Help me please.....

I "hate" my truck too. I can also relate to your spouse's jealousy. A few years ago, when I bought my other wicked toy, my girlfriend was envious of the attention it recieved. She left me shortly after...but the car has remained faithful.

Nope, wasn't me. I was in the Rose garden area last Friday afternoon.

Speaking of where I was...I went to the Happy Days car show yesterday. It was pretty cool. I didn't see any Lightnings though.

 

I can relate. I find myself looking back a few times before I actually go in the building to work. I am also way to picky when it come to cleaning it. It rained just enough to get everything dirty yesterday so I washed it today. 4 hours, and I'm not done, and I didn't even wax it!!

The wife has had a few words to say and we've gotten in arguments about the truck. At least the truck doesn't get mad when I leave the toilet seat up!!

By the way, good choice on colors!!
