Talking New BEST @ Fun Ford

I ran my best time ever today 12.73 @ 105+ in qualifing The difference in mods were: JDM's incredible new 01 program with the Stock lower pulley and the Awesome upper pulley from Mark @ Lighnforce!!!!!
I had changed the airbox back to stock which I believe hurt my mph and possibly my et??
Jim/JDM ran a 12.79 @ 106 and Mike from VA Beach ran a 12.77 @ 105+ Temps were 80's and HIGH humidity!! It was great meeting everyone today - can't wait until tomorrow

Good job on your new best E.T! What kind of 60 ft.'s were all 3 of you pulling today? Were you all running a 3 plate convertor for those times?

Matt, I had a new best on my 60' 1.776 I really believe that stock air box is killing me! I was expermenting with it after a post about how much cooler the air was with the stock box. I think our trucks would rather have a lot of hot air than a little cool air! Jim was not running a converter and was in the high 1.9's. Mike had a converter and was in low 1.8's I believe.

Caka,
Yes, Jim was in his 01.

Question

Hey guys, what classes are you racing in? The final qualifing orders are posted and none of those mentioned trucks are listed. Right now I see some 10 second truck number one, then Eric Eldreth (12.64), JL (12.66), a guy named Lenny Stanley (12.73) and the next truck is Jerry Green with a 13.03. This is listed as Final Qualifing Order for the truck class. Is this wrong? Since you guys are there, I'm sure you'd know what's really going on.

And I thought the GROVE would be rained out. Looks like JL has the 2,3,4 qualifying spots. Nice job

DOH! I didn't even realize there was a FFW going on, I thought everyone was talking about the NMRA Motorsport Nationals (even though now looking back the topic says FFW ). My bad. Does FFW have a site?

Sal,
FFW is at Virginia Motorsports Park in Richmond this weekend. http://www.virginiamotorsportspk.com
Click on the FFW link. As of now, they haven't posted any results from yesterday.
