Post engine mods..

Has anyone here ever ported and polished the heads, intake?

Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords did an article on head work for the Lightning (either last month or the month before) and came to the conclusion that it was expensive and unproductive. I belive they said it cost like $3k to get the work done and netted ~14hp.

I believe one or two people here did it also and came up w/about the same results.

I read the same article in MM&FF and I was surprised that our heads come from the factory with 4 angle valve jobs. Nice!!

Not worth the money or the time..IMO
Just like WYLDMAN stated, there was not that much to be found from them,especially for the $$$ involved.
Maybe the few that have done this MOD will give their thoughts on it.
