Post OK, you guys have just been pullin' my leg, right?

yesterday after work, i changed over to royal purple syn. #11 oil and k&n oil filter. L had 3998 on odo--first change was at 999 miles--motorcraft 5w20.

while lying on my back, i checked the 'button' on ea. lower control arm to see if i needed to add more grease--had first applied the grease with the first oil change. much to my surprise, the grease was still on the 'button'..untouched. it's yet to be contacted by the spindle. WTF!

no, i'm not driving on ruler-straight roads only. am pretty sure that i put the grease on the right spot???

Since it only contacts the stop at full lock I'm sure mine hasn't contacted either. I don't ever remember having the wheel at full lock on either side. I think it's a matter of driving style.
