Post Smoked an RT last night!

last night I was changing the pads on the beast and reinstalling the front sway bar. I can say this. you can tell the difference when you have had it of for so long, truck takes the twistys much better now. Doesn't launch as good though. Well anyway I'm driving the beast for a test spin to try out the new pads and make sure its all good when I look over and all these rice burners are sitting in the McDonalds parking lot. Out of nowhere this red dakota RT pulls up next to me. Now this is the race I have been waiting for all year. This kid looked over at me with a look of confidence that I was even scared of. Well he edged foward and so did I, the light turned green and I just layed down the hammer, Slowly though I didn't have sticky tires. Well at about 70 MPH, I would venture to say I had about 7 or 8 lengths on this dakota. Well I get up to the next light and this kid was ce enough to say WOW that truck is fast as hell man. I guess all you dakota guys aren't so bad afterall, I'm still keeping my name though.

Anyway, It was cool to race an RT again.

Oh yeah the brakes work great and so does the gas pedal! HAHAHAHAHAHA

RT - shouldn't you have been picking on the rice-mobiles instead of our slower fellow sport truckers.

DreamaboutL.

Did I ever tell you about the silver porsche 911 I wacked on the way home from work.

We where up to about 120+ on the 294 when I saw him shut it down in my reaview mirror.

We where at a toll both and this guy looked at me and we both took off at the same time. He never got ahead of me the whole time I was racing him. Whopped his *** big time. that felt good. he later got next to me and waved as I got off the ramp. cool guy, but I bet he was pissed.

My dad loves taking my truck out and racing people in there fast cars. He tells me about this guy that has a ferrari in his coutry club. this guy thinks his car is the fastest thing in the world and all thiS BS. well my dad talks some mad chit to him and tells him that he wants to race him with my sons truck. for some reason the guy won't race him. The ferrari is that 355 spyder or something, I've seen it. its the little one that they make now, I think there around $150,000.00 beatiful car, but I would love to race this guy. on a strait away of course.

There should be some interesting reading after July 1st. The Lightings in the surrounding area have been invited to join the Vettes and Vipers at the Vette-Viper shootout at River City Raceway in Seguin, Tx. on the first. I'm planning on going and some of the others in the HALO group have made plans as well. We probably won't dominate, but we should get some incredulous stares after a few passes.

Killa,

Check out the "Pilaf" I found a while back after shooting some photos. A couple actually had the cahones to come out from behind their milkshakes to inquire why I was taking photos. My response was...Rice Pilaf. They were not amused but knew their precious grains would be injested and leave the Eaton hungry in an hour.

damn skeeters.

Speedin Bob - what is that a Neon convention?

I say we all get pinto's w/ altezza lights, huge wings, fat tires w/ pimp daddy rims and throw in a Ford 2.3L Turbo engine for good measure, then go show them how to really party.

Speeding Bob,
Where was the rice rally? That's alot of neon's for a rice rally with only 1 Honda... I have to laugh at those, but there is a turbo kit for them that makes them 11 sec. cars...
RTKilla,
What kind of brake pads did you go with?

Later, Justin

Captain, blkbolt, and Killa

Not sure if this was a "rally" for I stumbled upon this gaggle by only because it is near the industrial park where I go to "play" on Sunday afternoons. Also, this particular Steak and Shake is very close to a local import performance shop within this industrial park. Guess they had a special on Altezza lights that day and they all wanted to celebrate their go-faster mods with a chocolate shake with whip cream a cherry on top.
