the guys on the cobra boards are talking smack about our trucks, if everyone could post a mod list and some timeslips it would be great, i traded my 99 cobra for an 01 L and told them it was faster stock and mod dollar for mod dollar it smokes the snake.then they all started throwing up their BS flags...if you could post how much you have spent on your truck to make it fast it wold be super too!!!

00L swanson chip and pro-m,tb,bassani headers,et streets 12.793 108.97 also have a psp lower pulley but not track tested.Stangs no better around here and so do most ls1's not to mess with the mighty L lol.The svt mechanic that installed the headers as part of the sale claimed he knew for a fact that my truck stock would beat a 98 cobra and one of the other mechanics had one hmmmmmmm.

 

Lets do a 99+Lightning vs 99/01 cobra drag contest. Hey well even race that cobraR too! dog

i try not too, but i want people to see the light as i did, i had 10k in mods to my cobra and it sucked, rattles, creeks, recalls galore, unable to street race, ****ty irs susp, uncomfortable seats, my best 1/8th with a vortech was a 8.6xx with a 1.91 60 ft granted with stock gears, but if you gear it then you loose trac, then you get slicks, then you break half shafts, then your tranny goes..it is a never ending chase of the next weak link(s)...
