Cool Cowl induction vs. Ram Air

Wondering what opinions were about pros and cons to either of these hood options. I want one and I'm 50/50 right now. Are there any significant benefits to either. RTKILLA and Spiro's hoods both look awesome. Can't decide....

PS...Where to get 99Fog lenses???

Well...you know my choice for this one. I also believe that there is a benefit in running a Cowl -vs- A NON-functional Ram-Air hood. IMO
You need to vent all that air that is being forced through our TOO LARGE grill. With a Cowl Hood, you have that chance to relieve some of it..but not all of it. I plan to "open up" my COWL to the largest size. Besides...being able to see blower would be cool as well .

With a NON-FUNCTIONAL Ram-Air hood will trap extra air, with no place to go IMO of course... sorry KILLA'

Now why doesn't someone design a 4"Cowled Ram-Air Hood That would be a big seller, whouldn't you think?

Contact www.summitracing.com for the Fog lights. They are the same from the 87-93 GT's. You will need to change over the connector plug to the L style. I chose the yellows this time around, I think I'll be switching to something darker next time they brake.

Cool

Just read that the Cervini's hood (cowl induc) is about 24 pounds heavier than the stock. That was a surprise. Figured it to be lighter. I know someone out there has pictures of a cowl hood on a red lightning...

Spiro, How was the installation? Line up pretty well? Craftmanship? Leaning toward the cowl hood right now even though my truck is red. Can't find the lights on Summit's website...

RP,
Here's the part #'s for the Lights. Just enter that number on their website, and you could have them in a few days

SUM-890200 = CLEAR 32.99
SUM-890201 = YELLOW 39.99
SUM-890202 = SMOKE 39.99

Installalation on the hood was simply perfect. I did not have any sanding to do for fit

Cool

Does Cervini's ever plan on making this Ram Air hood functional? Not sure how the cowl hood would look on a Red truck. Anyone have pics of a cowl hood on a Red L?

...while we're at it, does anyone have any pics of a silver with a cowl hood? I'm ordering a hood within the next week or two. As of about a month ago I was 95% sure I wanted the AAD hood, but then Speedracer29 had to go and post a pic of his silver Cervini's with the sun shining on it a few weeks ago, and now I'm down to 60/40 AAD vs. Cervini's. Why not add a third one to the mix and get me all confused (not that hard- jk). All help is appreciated. Thanks...
