Question Nitrous

I would like to know from those who have Nitrous if there is any engine mods that need to be done or does it just slap right on? And the most important info, "How much is it"?

I along with a few others, did not do any type of "engine preperation" for the GO-GO juice. With the proper tuning, you will be alble to run a 100 shot, anything bigger...and your asking for problems
I have gone threw about a dozen 15 lb bottles, and NOT ONCE had a plug, or any other type of problem with it.

I was smart..I did my homework, spoke to the guys (WYLDMAN,1BADTK) that have been running it for over a year now with AWESOME results, and learned from there. Nitrous is safe, as long as you do your homework, and of course the proper programming for it.

As for the cost...with the complete EFI kit, and the additional GEN X kit, it was around 800 bucks, a little cheaper than a convertor
With the kit you get all the goodies besides the standard stuff. I also have the pressure tranducer botle heater, guage, purge.

Here's a tip:
If anyone is going to buy a kit, go with a 15 lb. bottle. Reason being...with a 15 lb bottle, the pressure will not drop as much durning a 1320 run, as compared to a 10 lb bottle, therefore you will run slightly quicker with one

Remember, if you go with a DRY system, keep it under a 100 shot.

I agree with everthing Sprio has said, but you need to also replace the stocker plugs.

Thanks for all the info, I don't plan on getting one for awhile. I want to see what my truck will do with a few mods first. I was also wondering where did you you guys purchase it from?

Spiro,

Do you have the regular EFI system, or the piranha?
