Red 2001L Finally Home in Houston !
Got my brand new shiny red 2001L ! What a fun weekend it has been putting some 200 miles in the odometer and just driving and cruising... Sunny, blue skies and in the low 90s with little wind: just perfect.
Seems like I got the last L from Texan Ford, in Katy TX, as their other silver was also gone before I picked up my red one.
Rookie question: how does the boost gauge suppossed to work? Does it stay flat until you step on it and accelerate?
Thanks to TEXAN FORD and Will Boze for their great help and A+ treatment during the loooong buying period.
Minor detail I overlooked: during the walk-thru I missed the CD-Changer and when I got home I discovered they had not given me a CD magazine, which means I will probably get it when my plates come in next week.

Hey, they most likely took out the magazine to keep anyone from just walking in and stealing it. Was your's on the showroom floor?
