Post NoVa Cruise

...and a great time was had by all. Five Gen IIs and one Gen I. Three black, two red and one d*mn good looking silver. Oh yeh, there were some Cobras, Vipers, Ponies and classics also. Great meeting Ivanhoe, Mr. & Mrs. 1BadL, Buford T., Kyle, and Brian K. again. Hopefully the next time we can get more L owners to join us.

The hOOters girls weren't bad either!

I had a great time today meeting everyone, and I hope we can do it again. I really like the idea of having a local club of just lightnings (preferably just Gen IIs). I am really considering heading to the all Ford get together at the end of this month, if anybody else wants to go just slip me an e-mail at: kylerobeson@hotmail.com and we can meet up to go. I forget however where it will be held and the exact dates if one of you could provide them for me that would be great. Well, I am sure this won't be the last time I post on here tonight, so I'll talk to ya later.

Everyone,

It was good meeting everyone new, and seeing Ed again....

We have to do it again, as we now have a hOOters fund.

A good turnout of all kinds of sweet rides. Its like a car show there....

Thanks to those that came down from MD.....

For those without a chip, I got a video uploading right now for you...Look for the thread "Reason for a chip" a little later tonight. (Its 50% uploaded now)....

Be sure to send the pics to me at home and I will post them.

Thanks again,

It was really great meeting all of yall for the Cruise Night. The wife and I will be going to Fun Ford Weekend in Va as well the end of this Month, so Too Fast maybe we can caravan down there.

Of course we all know that RED is the fastest color --- Right Brian

Let the MODS begin

By the way, wasn't that BufordTJustice out trolling for a Lightning while we were there --- a bear in the weeds???

Had a great time meeting all the Capitol Area Lightning (?) guys and gals. Hopefully next time I'll be driving a brand spanking new 01 Bolt.

Brian K - you've got some mail son.

Just wanted to thank y'all for answering all my questions about this awesome vehicle and giving me pointers regarding my purchase. I think we have the makings of a strong club to represent the Capitol region. Thanks again.

Hmmmmm is right, I kinda like that name. I might drop off the "area" in it. "Capitol Lightnings"<---got a nice hint to it.

Cool

Way to go Ivanhoe! You have come a long way from the Dark Side to the Bright(Red)Side! How long before you start modding the DC Lightning? I installed my flip chip, and of course, its in the Race program except when I am pulling the boat. The Butt-O-Meter says I have some more RWHP. Glad you found new Friends to play with.

Superfords,

We are planning on staying for both days -- where is the nearest Marriott, the wife considers anythin less roughing it

Flatsman,

Since I know FORD watches this board, I will not say that I am going to run a Swanson Flip Chip, or a 90MM MAF, or a single blade throttle body, or a Johny Lighting Stage III, so I guess it will just ahve to stay stock ---
