Hey guys just found out someone in my department has a stock(so he says) 96 cobra. All he has is intake and pulleys (underdrive). He wants to take them to the track. Do i have a chance with my stock L? It is in top notch shape only has 30,000miles and never had a pulley swap. I have my little custom made k&n intake ram air thing? and have brand new tires! I bought for now hankooks in the back and have original goodyears f1s in the front?
For the drag race at what psi do you guys recommend. I think 30 in the back and 40 in the front should do fine

 

It'll be a good race. You should win. You need to get a chip and pulley that thing then it'd be no question. The psi you mentioned sounds good. Too much air out of passenger radials and they just end up bowing up in the middle.

 

Yeah hopefully everything goes good. I normally run 34psi all around (for fuel efficiency) but just for that night 40 front and 30 back (for traction). Well the track is regular cement so lets see how it grips.!

Full suspension work (for drag i guess)
Borla mufflers
King Cobra clutch
Intake
(really wide expensive tires in the back)
i forgot what they were...
