Post Pillar pod gauge questions?

I want to order the 3 pod pillar today and some gauges. What pillar should I go with, any recomendations on what type of gauges and who has the best matching gauges for the Lightning dash? How hard are they to hook up?

Thanks for any help.

John

John893,

I went with the Lo Tek 3 gauge pod. Order from http://www.mindspring.com/~lotek/lightning.htm . The fit is not bad, being 1/4" too short. Some foam up behind the roof liner and you're good to go.

The gauges are Auto Meter Phantom series. They look factory when you use the green bulb condom.

Choice? Boost no question. I used Volt meter because we don't have one and they're easy to install. I also used the A/F Ratio gauge, which I wouldn't recommend if you're looking for something useful. Perhaps Oil Pressure or Temp gauge. They'd be a little tougher to hook up.

Hope this helps.

I just got my autometer in this week and I'm having my body guy color it. It might be done today, so I'll try and post some pics up by monday. I think the autometer is going to fit allot better. I looked that way to me. I had the lo tek too, and I just didn't really care for the quality of it.
