Anyone out there with a 2001 just running a filter kit and lower pulley. I am thinking about doing this and wonder what kind of increase I can look forward to. Also no chip these would be the only mods on the truck.

Any problems with just these, do you have to have a chip to compensate for anything. Anything I should know. If anyone is running this let me know and how does it do and if there are any problems.

Me...PSP lower with JDM filter kit. The pulley IMHO is a must do just like a chip. Nobody wants to get back with me on a chip so for now the pulley is the best mod...

The stock computer program kills 4 injectors(that "farting" sound you hear at shift) and gives you a mushyass, make Joe Citizen happy sloppy shift. All this increasing your time in the 1320 to .3-.5 range. If you are okay with that then don't get a chip. For an all new completely different vehicle, get the chip.

I would definitely buy a chip to go with the pulley to make sure your air/fuel ratio is still ok with the extra boost. I think that would be safer route.
