Any 2001's with the diablo chip
I was reading about chips and saw the diablo and went to their site.

Anyway on their home page it has a link to dyno numbers and they have a stock 2001 L and then their chip installed.
It made like a 41 HP increase and like 42 pd/ft of torque. This sounds great. Is this a true idea of what you can get or is it marketing.
Anyone with this chip? What do you think? Any problems?
I was blown away by these numbers and just would like to know what anyone has to say about it.

I've got the (Johnny Lightning) diablo chip, and love it in my 01. It's a night and day difference to me. Best times so far with a JL chip and a PSP lower blower pulley is 13.30 @ 106mph with a 2.08 60ft time on that run. Shifts are firm and on occasions it'll chirp the tires from 1st to 2nd at 3/4 throttle or wot. I waited until I had 1000 miles on mine stuck the chip in and never looked back. It was well worth the cash. I also like the way that the diablo chip is tucked inside the PCM.

william: we have the same set up(for now)! just instl'd my pulley last sat. and JL's diablo chip last night. no times as of yet, but will get my first ever time slip soon. SOTT(seat of the trousers--men don't wear pants)'s, it screams! JL's ram air and drive shaft loop will follow(they're waiting patiently in my garage).
