ally 69, I just did the lower valence on my L, i haven't gotten around to doing the top yet but I will probably tomorrow.
The bottom took me about 10 minutes. I took off the original honey comb and then place the speed grill from the outside. I didn't like the clips they come with so I used someone's advice and I went with the plastic tie wraps (the little plastic strings that snap and you can't open them unless you break them) I plan on doing the same with the top grille. I have a post on this subject I think I labeled it "speed grille, need help installing"
good luck

Ally 69, didn't have to drill any holes. Just pass the plasctic tie wrap through the edge of the grill and pass it through one of the little holes from where the original was screwed in. It's a very simple job, it was the first thing I have really done to my truck. I'll probably do the top tomorrow. If you still have a hard time, keep me posted and i'll try to do it step by step.
