Question Who's running Red Line Water Wetter???

Wondering if anyone is using it in their cooling system and how it is working. Also, is it safe for the intercooler reservoir??

Thanks!

I know Clonetek uses it in his intercooler as he was Jonesin' for some at WFC4 (for his intercooler of course).

I may do add some to both IC and Radiator now that I'm all set for another 12000 miles or so.

OBTW, I'm not going to be able to make it to Muncie next week.. . Leash has been short as of late...

I use it in both systems, race car, bike, and ATV's. I lowered the glycol concentration in my L and added the appropriate amount of wetter. It helps temps recover and shed heat faster.

Had it in my 93 Eagle Talon AWD. Worked like a charm. Now, I have it in my 01 Bolt.

What mixture are you using? The dealer said my coolant is the original from the factory and was 50/50 h20 to glycol. I was thinking of removing 1/3 from the intercooler tank and adding the 4 oz and the rest h20. Then I was thinking of draining 2 gal from the radiator and adding the rest of the bottle + 1.75 gal h20. Sound reasonable?

I use it in every vehicle I own (6). It works OK in coolant, but works superb when mixed with water only.

I put some in my Classic Roadsters and noticed an immediate difference. It has an aluminum radiator so I used distilled water. It made about 10 degrees difference in traffic.

I also used to have a Jeep Grand Cherokee, and would tow my 21' Carerra boat with it.

Cooling systems in the Jeeps are notoriously inadequate in those vehicles due to lack of space up front. It would go up to 235 degrees going up the mountains around So Cal during the summer. With water weter, 225-230
was pretty much the norm.
