I want to get my '01 wheels chromed; but I don't have any "extra" wheels to use for the 2-3 weeks it takes. What have you done? Have you bought another set of wheels? Any advice would be appreciated.

I bought an extra set. 960.00 to my door.

 

If you are going to buy an extra set, just buy the chromed ones and then have your tires mounted to them. Then you would have Chrome and Silver.

nobody has chrome 01 wheels yet.


I would just buy some cheap *** rims and tires and run around on those for a while. or wait till winter and then when the trucks parked do it.

The place where you're getting them chromed from may have some loaner wheels for you...
