How many miles are you guys going before changing the fuel filter?

This is the 3rd time I've changed my fuel filter in 18,000 miles. You would not believe the ***** that came out of the other two filters. Mine average 5-6000 miles each.

Just wondering exactly where the fuel filter is located?

 

It is located on the driver's side frame rail by the gas tank. You can't miss it. Easy to remove/replace with the proper line-disconnect tools (cheap A/C or fuel line removal tools at any parts store will work). I change mine every 10k miles.

I just did my first change at 8500 miles, along with my 3rd oil change. I figured what the hell change it before going to the track.
