Arrow All Phx people ------>

Hey guys, I know its hot & all, but I am "track sick" (like home sick) & would love to meet all you guys (Peter B., Modd69, Joelightning, XCheynnSuper, Acoder) @ the track. Acoder (if he can make it) will be driving from Gilbert & making his maiden trip down the track in his new 01. Lets all meet up & have some fun! Another friend of mine is going to bring his new Dodge R/T to see what it can do (not against our trucks mind you, he knows better!). Who can go!?

Yoda
Thanks for the offer but we are back in Knoxville, Tn. We only come to Phx for the winters now. Just couldn't take the summer heat or the culture change there anymore. I really enjoyed meeting you and mod at the track and thanks for all your tips on how to run. Maybe I'll see you there this winter.
Anybody looking for a great place to lve. Knoxville is it.

Hmmmmm.... It's been a very long time since we've met up, but I give it only a 1% chance that I can make it in the near future. Work is kicking my butt lately (no comments from the peanut gallery Peter). Make a plan without me and I’ll see what I can do.

Joel….

BTW, my last time out I had a new best of 13.43 @ 101.9MPH. I joined my good friends second time out with his hand made twin-turbo Mustang (He only turned a 12.14sec @ 121.56 MPH

WOW Joel, that is a wicked looking stang!! Did he build it himself? Damn i'll bet that engine cost a pretty penny to hold up to that much h/p!
Too bad you cant make it, its been a long time since we met last. I was worried that you go rid of your "L". Hope all is going well on the homefront for you!

Yoda, actually it's a long explanation, but the short answer is the motor is a stock Ford crate 302. He hand fabricated everything himself! It produces 535 HP Net at 5,400 rpm (with only 11 psi of boost) and 620 lb-ft Net at 4,100 rpm. Expect to see it in Hot Rod Magazine in the next few months (they took pics of the car back in Jan or Feb).

Yoda,
what time are you planning on getting there?

ACoder,
There's nothing to fear. Nobody's going out on some competition or anything. We all just go to get together and have a fun night out! We are all looking forward to meeting you and then seeing how an 01 runs here in Phoenix. No excuses, get your butt out there and lets have some fun!! Oh, BTW, don't let Modd69's comment about blowing us all away intimidate you, even though he came across like a major arrogent jerk in his comment, he's really somewhat of a nice guy!

Modd69,
You know you deserved those sarcastic comments I just made about you!

JoeLightning,
Too busy at work to come out and have some fun!? Well I have all the, nevermind. I just had to throw that comment out to you! Hey, congrats on your new best, you got me beat, as my best was a 13.47 @ 102.192. So when was your new best time? It's been awfully hot lately, and what chip and all are you running these days? Damn your friends Stang runs nice! I need to get working on my Vette so I can show these Lightning boys how a REAL vehicle runs, hehe.

I get off work @ 5pm, depends if my wife goes or not if I will need to drop her off @ home, if I come straight out will probably get there around 6pm, or 6:30 if I drop her @ home first, so lets say 6:15

Oh, I'll definitely go, but really doubt I'll be able to go this Wed.
