I've been lurking on this message board for about three months reading the posts and trying to decide whether to buy a Lightning or not. I have owned Mustangs in past and was leaning toward a Cobra but needed a truck also. What do you get when you combine Cobra like perfomance with a truck? A bright red Lightning! Test drove it and had to have it.

I emailed about 20 Ford dealers from the Mexican border up to Los Angeles trying to find an L on the X-Plan. Mossy Ford was the only one that would do it. They have a black one and a silver one if anybody is interested.

Thanks for all the great information especially the tip on joining the EAA! I look forward to participating in the discussions now that I'm in the club.

Nice color choice. I have a Red 95' L and a Red 00' L. Actually wanted Silver when I bought the 00' but they said I'd have to wait for it. Now I'm glad I got Red.

J/K mine is just over one mo. old. btw, just instl'd sal's lower pulley sat. factory gauge showed 2lbs extra boost with 2800 miles on it. i wish i had 1/4 miled it before my first mod for comparison's sake, but it's been raining off and on for days. dan
