My buddy NEEDS toi know what the abrevated stat CHA stands for anyone plzzzzzzzzzzz?

 

That would be the abbreviation for the Chicago White Sox.

CHA is Chicago-American League
CHN is Chicago-National League

If you're talking about individual's stats...then it is probably referring to "chances". This refers to the number of times a fielder had a "chance" to make a play on a ball.
