Post What to expect.....

I am wondering what to expect from the psp air filter kit. My 2001 L is new and I am looking at doing mods in stages. From what I have heard it sounds like the filter kit and chip and lower pulley sound like the most popular mods.

What mod would you do first, I have to do it in stages and I had to get a bedrug first, Because I won't put anything back there without some protection.

Anyway I am leaning towards the filter kit for starters and then probably the pulley and finally the chip.

Would this be good it will probably have to be done at about 2 month intervals to keep the wife off my back.

What kind of gains could I expect from doing just one mod. What mod would make the biggest gain. I am not into NOS for this truck.

Lastly would it be best to wait until the engine is fully broke in maybe about 1500 miles or so or should I go for it now.

I heard someone say soomething about the filter kit leaning out your engine will this be a problem or not.

Any and all input would be great.
Paul

Thumbs up

go ahead with the filter kit of your choice. The Pro-M meter will lean you out but kits utilizing the OEM meter will not (PSP, Johnny L, Airaid, JDM)

[donning Nomex]

I would wait until 1500 or 2000 miles to chip it. JMHO
