Post bedrug in open bed?

I have had two bedrugs in my last pickups, but one had a tonneau and the other had an ARE Z series. On the second one the bedrug was in for about two months before the topper and had it up to about 90 with no movement of the bedrug.

My question is will a bedrug in a lightning with an open bed stay put. I like the look of the open bed on the L and like the bedrug. It is soft and looks good and washes up nice.

What do you think, will it stay put and if anyone has it setup that way what do you think. My L is silver and I think the gray bedrug would accent nice.

Thanks
Paul

it'll stay put... i put my bedrug in several months before i got my bedcover.
i put the velcro exactly where the instructions said to put it, and i installed my tiedowns on top of the bedrug.

I have had the Bed Rug in for about 5 months without a top. No problems. It stays put at all speeds. I had the four tie down brackets put over the top of the bed rug so they help it stay secure. The bed rug is suppose to be made from marine carpeting with a foam backing. Mine had been through the winter rains, I park the truck outside, no room in the garage. In addition, I live close to the oceanand this subjects the Bed Rug to the salt spray test.

No problems with mine at speed and it is open. It too is the fastest color.

Sorry about the multiple posts, but found the Bedrug for $288 online.

and

I'm not sure what their shipping is. Most companies do not charge shipping for the Bedrug.
