Question I might sell or trade the L.

I've been wanting another tow truck for a while, it might be time to say bye bye to the L. I found a kiler deal on a 2000 F550 crew cab, with diesel/ auto, & air. $28,000 brand new. I'm not sure if I'm going to buy it, but I'm very tempted! I suppose it depends on if I can get enough out of my truck on trade or outright sale to make it a reasonable deal. I'd sell it with all mods ($2500 worth) for $27,500 or stock for $26,000 They are checking trade values for my truck now, (It's a heavy duty truck dealer that would'nt have many performance buyers) Lloyd

A Supercruzer would be awesome, but I would'nt want to make those payments. I'm already at $2,200 a month for vehicles! Lloyd

If I get the F550, I'll be looking for low 15's/ high 14's! Of course a chip will be the first mod. As long as I can beat the ricers with a crew cab tow truck, I'd be happy. Then I'd get my 73 done for real racing. Lloyd

750, 650, I just meant "the big guy". That'd probably pass that insurance company crash test. lol...

There are definately some nice disel mods out there you can get for that 550.

2200 in car payments? ouch? What do you own? Thats almost 4 lightnings.

I have the L, an Aurora, and a Freightliner tow truck ($65k) that weighs almost as much a 4 Lightnings!
