Paging Twinturbo Ranger
Hey i was wondering if you had any pictures of how you did the turbos in your ranger- or maybe just describe where they are mounted and how the exhuast was routed. is it intercooled?
I used the TDC stage 2 kit for a stang. This was the only kit were the headers would clear the steering box. I had to fab all the intercooler tubing from the turbos to the intake. If you know someone who would make some custom headers you'd be better off as I have very little room for maint. You'll find out that this is a huge task and unless you're good at altering things I would not recommend it. It's extremely quick,gets tones of attention,but it is not practical for daily use. I would reccomend a supercharger for everyday use. I used to drive it everyday with a 5 speed and Kennebell Whipplecharger and it was much easier to maintain,plus you can have A/C. I only have a heater now,and it's damn near impossible to slap A/C on it. I don't have any pictures either. I'm hoping to get some within the next week or so that will be digital. Hope this helps.
