I have a JDM setup. I bought the chip a few months ago and just installed the mass air kit this week. The chip was strong by itself and I didn't notive much with the airkit by itself, but put them together and watch out!!! Entirely different beast! I have tried any other chip so I have no basis for comparison, but I like the setup I have. The 90 mm filter setup is pretty much the same for all the vendors.

Before I put the chip in I consistently got 13 mpg. Always, no matter what. Now, I always get 15.8 mpg. A welcome change for once.

 

So many chips and air filters? What should i get for my 2000 lightning? Would a chip improve gas mialage?
