I may be asking for it but I was thinking about a system like this. A Kenwood Excelon 717-917 head unit the 917 plays MP3's. Both have 4.5 pre outs 3 sets. Replace stock speakers with JL Audio TR570-CX 5X7's 2 way. JL 10W3-D4 dvc 10" subwoofer. Phoenix Gold XS 6600 6 channel amp 4X50W, 2X150W or like 1X200W for the sub. I hope the sub can rock out with 200 watts. I like Alpine and even have a 12 disc changer for it but can't find a suitable head unit for it that has the features I want near a great price. Thanks for the help later .

The new issue of truckin magazine has a stereo buildup on a lightning. Its got pretty decent pics and then reviews various high end audio components.

I think it would sound pretty good like that, but you should really put some q-forms in the truck and forget about the rear speaker location's. they suck.

Q-forms are kickpanel speaker pods. they replace the kickpanels by your feet..
you put a 5.25" speaker & 1" tweeter on each side. they run about $200 bucks (without speakers)

What type of Q forms? Sub enclosures I assume. Their regular ported sub boxes?
