Fuel Prices and

With the current prices of fuel and Fomoco cutting back on truck production I guess its goning to be a long time for the next gen Lightning... Hey what ever happened to that new f150 Diesel ?

With the Big Three (soon to be insignificant 3) having a product mix at 75% truck, it will be a miracle if they stay in business, especially Ford.

This is currently worse case scenario: in terms of economy and fuel prices. History just repeats itself. There was the oil embargo of the early 70's, then the 80s and early 90s. When you don't adapt or learn, you die.

They dug their own graves.

I just saw a big mean lookin thug in the bronx here driving a smart car with an exhaust, rims, and mirror tint........you know it's gettin bad now.

I just found out that my local station has some kind of limit per transaction

I got to exactly $75 and it cut off, I knew it wasnt filled so I had to swipe my Visa agian and add another ten bucks or so...

that is because you payed with a credit card. you can't buy more then 75 bucks at a time on credit

I've been putting $80 in mine and I use credit.

i think each store may vary, but the general cut off has been lifted to 75 since that was what filled *most* fullsize's

That's one car the Mustang historians would love to purge from their memory. Built on a wonderful Pinto chassis and powered by a thundering 302 2bbl 139hp V8 and covered with gaudy graphics and multiple fake plastic scoops. And then have the ***** to call it King Cobra.

That's my all time choice for a Weenie Mobile.

Let's pray that this part of history remains buried forever.
