Exclamation New more powerful Magnuson blower!!!

Is this the new Magnuson blower that I have been hearing about? I thought I heard it was going to be a blower and intercooler upgrade for our trucks. Just thought I'd pass the link on, I was surfing and thought it sounded interesting. Especially the 40% increase in performance they are qouting!!

Wink

That is the Magnuson supercharger case (rear entry) with the Eaton rotors. Nice large rear entry. Now go figure how to do the packaging.

Question

Correct me if my math is incorrect, but you are saying more powerful blower, which will produce 40% horsepower increase. Well, a 5.4 liter triton without our blowers is 260 hp, and the 99/00's L's are 360 hp, which equates to our Lightning motors producing 40% more horsepower than a normally aspirated triton motor, so doesn't look like this new Magnuson blower would produce any more ponies.

Unhappy

I think you may be right. I didn't take the time to do the math, I thought that we had the 3rd. generation M-112 blower, and I saw 4th generation and jumped to the conclusion that this was a "new" blower. Oh Well....isn't the first time that I was wrong, and surely won't be the last.

Well you also forget we have built in Intercoolers and those numbers are w/o that. I don't think the 5.4 is exactly the same either look at the compression ratio, forged internals etc.
