I called up A dealer by me talked to parts,

hi i wanna order a set of O1 Lightning tail lights, ok sir well i will need u to come down with your 01 lightning and we can order them, I was like what he was like its a special Thing thats required By svt, I was like ok buddie if u say so, so i asked how much then so he looked up And said 161.73 I was like WTF are u talking about i said your nuts and buh bye. He was lauffin sayin nice try see if u can get them anywhere else.

So i call up the dealer we deal with at work, i was like hey its jason from..... She was like hey i said 01 lightning taillights she said hold on Yea i can get them special order 41.03 a piece list your price is 31 a piece I was like hold on im on my way i wanna see the pic and make sure thats what i need. So i goto the dealer Sure enuff I ordered them on the spot be here within a few days.


Ugh i hate ignorant dealers. Plus the first dealer asked me if i had a supercharged lightning I was like what.

 

I hate dealers also. I was going to get a brand new f150. They didn't have any on the lot I liked so I was going to order one. The person I was talking to said they can't order any.

the dealership i work for has the right side in stock (but not the left???) and i can order it, i don't know when i'll see the other side, depends on what the back order is.. but sounds like these dealers saying 150+ are on crack.. i could probably get them for 45 a piece.. not really sure, haven't looked them up in a long time, but if you guys are serious i can probably hook you all up for a decent price.. let me check at work tomorrow, and whoever is serious about buying them email me at sieben@voyager.net and shipping and handling would be like $10 for the set.. but i will get MY prices on the whole set of 01 L lamps tomorrow, and whoever is interested email me and i can quote you a price, and we can work from there

 

go to e-bay, they have a set for $110 if you buy it now, $2 for shipping. I bought mine a few days ago off e-bay for $127 shipped to my door.

 

$31.00 a piece? I will believe it when I see it..no flame I have all 7 part numbers on order in Texas for well over 1 month...they are on National Back Order... please re-post if you get them...because I will raise Hell!

I ordered my 01L tail lights from my SVT dealer's parts dept. Paid my money and waited. Three weeks later I get the call. Piece of cake installing them: 15 minutes in the dealer's parking lot with a 5/16 nut driver. Hot! You get the $31 price if you know the parts manager or similar higher-up at your dealership (or if you go to the inaugural SVTOA meeting in your area and happen to meet your dealer's motorsports manager there and tell him how nice it would be if you could have 01L tail lights and you've bought lots of SVO parts from him in the past and he offers you his best price).

LOL...I am gonna rag some ****! I have a buddy over at Ford in Arlington, TX...they tell me National Backorder??? These dad gum lights sell like Crack Cocaine...very devious....the methods of madness occuring concerning 2001 lighting! Congratulations...thanks for your speedy response!!!
