I have seen the subject of truck caps and Lightnings but never witnessed one until today at lunch. Here I am heading to the local Bestest Buy to get me some Jerry Reed CD's and what do I run into? You guessed it! A brand spanking 2-week old 2001 White Lightning. It was detailed with a unique twist, an ARE cap with white paint and a 3rd brake light. I just wish I had my Sony digital camcorder to make a copy for the board. Anyway I ran into the owner, nice enough man in his mid-fifties. The way I look at it, different strokes for different folks. At least it matched the paint and looked integrated somewhat. One things for sure, I'm definately going for a white or silver Bolt. The white looked pretty sweet.

Get white.. I had silver and I dunno personally I like the white better. I was comparing on SVT.Ford.Com and they made less white L's for some reason. Only 800 some. I didn't know that and they may make more for 2k1 but I doubt it. Red and black probably sell better.

Sweet ride. I really like the bed cover, but have heard a few mixed responses on QC issues, (paint, fiberglass) that I may go nude. Besides, not sure if I want to add any more weight to my total.

speedin bob has seen my white wheels in person, he liked them, probably the coolest mod ive done to my truck...trust me the pictures just dont do it justice. Recently I added 2k1 tailights and will soon add the headlights...can't wait.
