Post MT ET STREET USERS please reply!!

Im wondering if these things are suppoded to

1. be all over the road at 20psi towards the end of the track.

2.Drive real rough after 50 at a cruise speed

I know they are not radials but are they supposed to be this rough of a tire??

Im wondering if its normal,I have a bad wheel, or the something???

The wheels were balanced when mounted but they just feel real shoddy to me.

I had to drive home from the track tonight with them due to rain cancellation and it rode like a 55 chevy with wagon wheels.

I know they will dance on you at the end of the 660, so the 1320 is probably bad from 80mph on. It's just because they aren't radials, that's all. I can't help you on the cruising speed thing; I'd never run these on the road. Hit a wet spot and it's all over.

I run 14 #s at the track. At the end it does dance ya back and forth. I take them to around 25#s on the street. that is normal what you are feeling.

DO NOT go over 25mph in the rain with them. Both Spiro and I got caught in the rain on the way back to the hotel at the WFC with them on, and as soon as the highway turned from asphalt to concrete, both of us immediately lost traction, and I lost control of the truck and was acutally facing sideways on the road. It was some scary **** . I couldn't go over 20mph at that point.

et streets.i ran em at the track WFC4 was running 11-12lbs pressure and they were right on ,not sliding or weaving.i run em ion the street at 20-25 lbs not a problem, great traction,i have the 11.5 inchers, they get a bit weird on lower pressure but i never run em below 10 lbs, just my opinion, and they are right about wet pavement, traction, forget it.

Mine dance at the end of the 1/4...scary at first...and I run 17-18 LBS. No way I would run them on the street

Hey BigD,

Are you just visiting down here in Texas? Cause if you're staying for a while, you'll wish for this weather in a month or two...

Cool

After a year of using them at the track i don't even notice the dancing except when getting off the gas at the end at 18 psi.And my mph is 3mph faster with the et streets than the f1s,just don't ask why because i have no idea. 00L 12.796 108.97

I got caught driving in the rain and it felt like the whole back end just started floating right off the ground! Some severe hydroplaning. They really tend to wander when your running a low pressure on pavement that has bad ruts, otherwise I find them great. Except for the fact that they wear out so dam fast! I barely made one season of racing with them!

Hello Madhouse,

I make 1-3 trips to McKinney every month...yes I know this is not bad for Texas, but for someone who lives in Moline IL....this is hot as h**l for this time of the year

Thanks for the info,

After switching from the ET Drag's to the ET STREETS this year, I feel much better driving them on the road...the DRAG's were just a little too scary for me, and too short as well

But like Sal said, in the rain on concrete...LOOK OUT!! For street use I keep my 28x12.5x15 ET STREETS w/Tubes pumped to 28-30 psi, and it rides fine when not wet. But for the track, I drop down to 14-18 depending on conditions..but man, Look out at the top of the 1320...14 lbs. is really scary on a 150 shot
