I use pro shocks.but what you really need to find out is what spring rates you have and buy a shock that has the dampening abilities of that spring rate, ie.,for me 900+ spring rate in the ft, shock is 610 bounce and 700 rebound.Hope this does not confuse you.It all dependes on what type of ride you are after and how crazy you get on the track.

Lots of variables. Spring rates, what class you plan to run, how much you want to spend? How low your truck is makes a big difference in the length.

I feel a 12.xx coming on.

Shocks are free to change provided that they mount to the stock mounts and that they have no more than 3 adjustment *****.

Believe it or not the ft shocks that I use are a variation of the street stock shock on the dirty cars. They are made for the G Body GMs[I know]ie regals, montys etc.The valving that you need is going to depend on what you plan on doing with the truck and the road surfaces. When I was auto xing I had 50/50 valved shock simply because the courses were smooth. But if they are rough it getts much more harder to choose.
Also am looking at having eurathane[sp] bushing made for the a arms and maybe playing with lengths of control arms by offset drilling the bushings.Would anyone be interested in just the center drilled bushings?
If you need more help please email me it startes to get more complicated now.Stan

Stan did you catch my post about the rack & pinion? Sounds like the Blackwood may make converting the L a whole lot easier.
