Question Flip chip more difficult to "hide?"

I'm doing my homework for a chip, see?

I wanna go w/ a flipchip, I think it's called, so I can run stock most of the time (to take it easy on the tranny), and flip it to the chip when the urge strikes.

What if I need service? Is it any more difficult to reverse the operation w/ a flipchip, given the fact that there's gotta be some switch you mount somewhere?

Just being paranoid, I know, but humor me.

I drilled a hole in the little comartment to the right of the glove box and put the switch in side. If I have to go to the dealer it will only take me one minute to unscrew it.

So instead of a one minute job, it will now take two minutes. So don't wory, no problem dude.

No need to drill any holes, there's a perfect hole under the glove box in a small metal tab. Look under there you'll see it. The switch fits perfect! Real easy to remove. Lloyd

I had my flip mounted where Lloyd suggested as well. But now that I am running a 4-way..its a little tougher to find a good spot for the dial. So For now..it just hangs over the rear view mirror and dangles just above the dashboard. Not to mention its much simpler "switching" files that way..LOL

For my 4-way I have 1-Stock,2-street,3-race, 4-nitrous program... at my fingertips

i just leave mine tied up in a rubberband hanging from the computer. don't see why it has to be attached anywhere--it hangs behind my side wall out of sight and if i want to change it--just pull it up and switch.

Thumbs up

I have my four-way switch velcroed in the glove box, works great.
