This doesn't answer your question but I raced my buddy's WRX up Poudre Canyon this weekend. He'd waste me on every corner but I'd catch him rather quickly in the straights. Awesome cars, it's like thier running on rails.

I hate to be posting in the wrong place but i dont know where elese to post,
i recently rolled my toyota tundra, pretty much totaled 11k of damage., no flames please, and im in search of a new car,
any suggestions for a car/truck under 40k, i would like somthing that is tweakable to keep me busy too !
the subuara wrx looks nice but so does a black L. =)

I think simply because your posting on the Lightning board most of your responses are going to be go with the L. I think you should go with the L, but if want one that's going to be fast you'll have to get a RED one

Trey Cobb (Cobbtuning) is a good guy... used to work on Rx7's and made excellent products for them.
I suspect there will be a LOT more tuning places now that the WRX is available here.
The motorweek 2 weeks ago that review the 2001 Lightning, also review the WRX... 14.3 ET bone stock... lots of 4 wheel burn-outs!
