Its been a while...
Hey whats up guys. What do you get when you get a single guy with a Lightning and a digital camera, and one weeks worth of stuff?
Not much, but I do have this...(Well, there's more to it than that, but Tundra himself is in the other available videos...but think of it, whored out 00 SS vs. Lightning, vs 10th ann. firehawk, or that 01 Cobra I saw)
First ever supercrew HD seen in person?
It was nice.
And of course, the kill story, but in this case the neck and neck story. And this was during sun-up, rather, close to 11pm Alaska time.
Here's his story, he's got some headers, 4.10 rear end, a lid, and cutout. We raced earlier, but my camera man just got out of the 'country club' and wasnt used to my camera, so you guys cant see him really wupping my ***, more like walking me to about 80 or so, about 2 solid car lengths. This was a few miles down the road, we saw a black Mustang non-V6 with temp tags and we were in hot pursuit, but he got away (lucky him). So we went at it again.
He said he should be walking away faster, but ohwell.
PS, I finally broke down and got a mod. An air filter, big mouth style, courtesy JL.
700k bytes and change, hope you can download it...

And I have an older one from late last year that I might get up tomorrow, AFTER I get back from the heated track.

The first photo of the speedo reminds me of my first road trip I took last summer in my Lightning. I drove from Walnut Creek to San Luis Obispo to have breakfast with my dad.
I drove down I-5 and was following a Dodge truck at about 80 mph. After about 20 minutes, I noticed that we were both going 85. Later in the drive, I pulled off I-5 near Avenal and heading over the hills to Paso Robles and soon was up to 80, then 85. I quickly noticed that 90 wasn't too much faster than 85. After a few minutes, I realized that it didn't take much throttle to cruise at 100, and the same to 105 and then 110.
After cruising for awhile, a 55 mph curve/caution sign appeared and there was traffic far ahead so I slowed down to 55 mph.
That's when I realized how far to the left the needle is at 55!
