Jeez, guys. No more responses on the calipers? I'm still undecided. It seems like some people can post a topic on the wierdest things (which I enjoy too) and get 40+ posts and I post something on-topic and get nothing. Oh well...

Anyway, here's the photos I promised of the underneath of my truck to ally69 & Redneck Ferrari.

I like the tips. I have a black truck too and have considered painting my calipers. I dont think I like the red, at least not without some other red on the truck to balance it. However, I think a silver paint or a silver on black like sal suggested would be great.

I think the red calipers will look great on my truck, cuz they look good even on black. Tips look great too!

gforce - I think Argent, like the wheels, would look better. I'd personally go with the truck's body color. But the real question is, what do you think?

By the way, the tips look awesome!!!

I think the red does look good. However I agree w/Nathan you need to balance the calipers with something else thats red on the truck. What if you got rid of the clear corners? Just a thought.

Have I missed something...but since when does our calipers have "Lightning" written on them? Geez, I really don't see them on mine???

I have a black truck & painted my calpiers red over a year ago. I think it makes the truck stand out more. I also have Wet Oakales with red stripes in them. I have been thinking about taking off all the emblems & painting them back on in red. Oh to be different.

What you really need to do is lower the rear end a tad! I think they look funny raked at an angel like they are. I lowered mine 2" in the rear. Looks tons better!!!

Black truck or car, has to have Gloss Black calipers! or yellow ones if you want to impress the ricers! - just kidding.

Then copy the SVT logo off the truck and trace it to the calipers. Then paint that silver!
