WHAT IT IS ??????????
I'm new to the board,and have made a few posts,have called all the people who made my weekend so great,and think the whole Lightning gang is great!!!!
BUT it seems to me like whenever anything breaks,or something doesn't go as planned it's used as a forum to assess blame and criticize,and I don't think that's the purpose of it all.In their own way each manufacturer has done their best to give us good racing parts,if it ain't so then they know it, we don't have to slam em.We can call em and say man that worked, or hey it needs some tweaking,but don't air the dirty laundry for any or all to believe.If I have a problem with a product I contact the supplier,If I have a compliment for the product I call the supplier.This is my first serious year of racing,I've had the best and the worst , but have learned along the way.I think it's our function here to help eachother run better,give sound advice,or steer our friends in the best direction we know,maybe that's to simple,and blasting somebody is easier,but a phone call can cure your problems much better than a negative comment,sorry I'm on my soapbox here,but it's true.I saw the best group of racers at ST LOUIS,a bunch of guys and a gal having a blast.Some were successful some weren't,but when it was over I could look back and say I never had a better time.I was very fortunate,and had some good advice from many people I call my friends,they helped me every step of the way..
Steve although you lost in the finals,your a winner in my book,you staged and were ready to roll,playing no games,brakes on and the torque up,I'm sure sitting there was not fun waiting for the other finialist to pre stage then stage approximately 10-15 seconds later.
Seems like the red light shined upon us as I did the same prior to you.

You know what, I completely agree with you. I don't know anything about any of this, but my bf comes on here a lot. I have read through a lot of these posts and someone is always complaining about something. I agree with you 100%, but I also think that if so many people have so many problems with Fords, why buy them? Just my perspective on things.
