Dale,
No traction bars on the truck as of yet, but I am sure I will need them in the future along with a roll cage We'll see what happens Thank you

GATOR,
Not a problem. We'll see you at the next session

IBFAST,
I will need to check with Sal on inventory for that.

Daniel,
Where ya' been, you would have loved it!! The sound was simply AWESOME on the Juice The truck now sits until tomorrow when she goes on the trailer.

ZORPRIME,
Sorry, I was mis-informed. You need to call me when you get back to PA. I am sure you still have my number from last year.

Question

Spiro--Trying to figure out how on earth did you get 70 more h.p. than Harvey's 01 with what seems like only a chip and the Bassani no-cat back.Does that exhaust make a big difference? I know the chips are all pretty close. Thanks!

Thumbs up

Sal and Spiro,
You better get your inventory up on your pulleys because 3 good L owners got to see 1st hand what a 01 with your lower pulley can run at the track without a chip!I believe all 3 will be in touch with you soon about purchasing one! Thanks guys!

First off HARVEY's truck will see more HP as the motor "loosens up", they all do.
I honestly dont have anything that will make that much of a difference. The way I figure it, I have and always have had a strong A S S motor, and the DYNO didn't lie, and we backed it up to be sure at the end of ALL RUNS. I was always blessed with a strong motor from the beginning.

But as we all know...a motor will put out some power before letting loose...LOL Not that I expect it, but she has MANY, MANY hard miles on her...if that happens, I will sit back and enjoy the PRO 5.0 guys run 200+mph. I am going to have a blast with some good friends and new as well... whatever happens...happens, I am going to have a GREAT TIME

I could also watch the other L camps run around like nuts trying to find more power..LOL
All My MODS were listed above for the non-nitrous DYNO pulls.

well, you ought to be proud.I'm proud to have a fellow "L" owner doing so well!Thats what makes these trucks so special..the tuners and owners who share a common interest in improving what the manufacturers have given us.A rock solid foundation to build upon! Now lets all hold hands and sing kumbiya......(RIGHTTTTTTT!)

Spiro, that torgue number is sick! Congradulaions. It looks like you will have to go with a 2 stage or progressive nitrous system to hook it up off the line.

Will funny car slicks fit? Just kidding.

Sal, I noticed you have a prototype cooler box. No Hp increase? That should get you a lot.

Nice try Lightning Tuner and Spiro. You guys know @amn well that this is a bogus dyno chart. Anyone who has ever had any experience with dyno's will know that those quick peaks on the chart is "WHEEL SLIPPAGE" not your motor. I am not saying that you guys trucks aren't fast cause I know they are, but this is just another attack on JDM! Just admit it! Why must you guys post incorrect information to try to make your products look superior?

Hank,
Does this mean I am not putting out 545 Hp
when I spun the wheels on the Dyno?

I guess Lightning Bob is still making more power than me.

First of all Brian, these are NOT bogus dyno charts. And you yourself obviuosly don't know how to read a dyno graph. The "peaks" you are refferring to that you commonly see on Lightning dyno graphs are caused by converter lock up, not wheel spin. And there aren't any of those "peaks" on these graphs. The numbers listed correspond to where the motors made legitamate power, and that can be easily seen.

"I am not saying that you guys trucks aren't fast cause I know they are, but this is just another attack on JDM! Just admit it!"

I don't see anywhere in this topic where anybody said anything about JDM. I don't post bogus numbers to sell stuff. I post the truth. Other companies have been posting dyno numbers that are really bogus, because they are not telling people the whole story behind the trucks being used.

"Why must you guys post incorrect information to try to make your products look superior?"

Why must JDM customers always have to attack everyone else?
