Thumbs up 11.40's !! WOW @4700 lbs.

Yes..it's true, I ran 11.40 this past weekend at the WFC. I swapped out the 100 shot pills in favor of the 150 pills when no-one was around, and made a run with it.
The run started off with a terrible 60', but she screamed down the 1320 like never before. The MPH was a low 113 mainly becasue I was running some dangerously low tire pressure and had some serious "skating" going on around the 1100' foot mark.
During that day I played it off as if it were a fluke run...mainly because I did not want Sal to find out that I tried the bigger SHOT!! LOL
But I had to confess before dinner that night, it was killing me And no...I did not back the run up, I think I need to add the rollcage before doing that stupid move again

Thanks to Sal and JL for a great weekend once agian!!

Wish I was there. HEHE Seeing is beleaving, if you know what I mean. Looks like it's time to drill holes in the back window. If you have trouble finding someone to drill the holes you could always UPS the truck to me this winter. That way you won't have to sandbag anymore.

Glad to see you come clean about the run. I don't think I could have played it off like you did, i would have been looking for someone to install a cage that night.
Congrats on the time.

Point that rocket West and we can bend up a cage and slide a 4-link under it.

ROLLER,
It was great finally meeting you.I only wish I could have backed that run up, but that was a BIG NO-NO with NHRA and the WFC!.

Lets not forget also that I installed my JL power cooler the same weekend. Honest to god...I had the coolant down to 46 degress at one point. That played a big part in keeping my motor cool and ready for the next round of action.

Andy,
Hmmm...dont tempt me I see a cage in the near future, now only to find some dead weight that I could strip out of her. And loosing the console is not an option..LOL

Ray,
Tell me about it!! I cant believe the power this truck is making. I am still stuned over the DYNO numbers from the week before. I know one thing..the Niteous Express people were kind enough to take care of me during the weekend, and that even includes some pretty cool fuel additive that DOES PLENTY for Nitrous

TRAUMAPIRATE,
Thanks to you I was running well all weekend. You were also running yor truck, but found time to help me out..and keep me calm LOL Thank you

BadBolt,
YES..I am running a stock upper pulley, with the PSP lower. I love it!

Silver,
Hmmm....dont give me any ideas...we could easily turn this truck into TEAM PSP's 10 SEC L LOL

Congrats!! Sbeero!!!
Looks like a 10 pt is going to be required. The 8 pt is only good to 11.00.
I wish I could of made it to WFC but got to make hay while the sun shines. Project X should be renamed Project $$$$. It looks like mid June to the beginning of July as a possible completion date. I spent most of the day cutting and grinding Chromemoly bars. It would be nice to have it ready and tested for the NMRA event at Staton. I saw JL planned on coming up. I was hoping you would make the trip too.

HR,
I was a little pissed you didn't make it, but I understand, and it looks like I was the only one there with a Honorary HIGH RISK RACING TEAM jacket. But it's all good my friend Just be sure to keep me informed on how the truck is coming along....How long can I keep this secret of yours LOL
I will do my best to make the STANTON event. There is a slight problem that needs to taken care of,at around 4500 rpm in first, she lays down and quickly picks back up...maybe a fuel volume issue... But she still runs 11's if I choose..LOL

Long Live RACER X

Spiro- Please do not take offense to this post but you know good and well that your 11.40 pass was not legitmate! Their is simply no way that you can run a 11.40 pass with a 2.2 60 foot time. I saw you all weekend run 12.17-12.25 with 1.7-1.8 60 foot times on a 100hp. How can you add 50hp bigger shot of NOS and lose .3-.4 off your 60 foot times and cut almost 1 tenth of your ET? You and everyone else seen the track working on the clocks after your pass! This is not a personal attack but rather I am tired of you and Sal misleading the Lightning communinty for personal gain and to simply try to put JDM out of the Lightning tuning business!
