12.20's sounds right on the bottle. Altitude from Cecil county to St. Louis will slow him down about 2/10 to 3/10's.
Last year I went 12.80's no bottle at Milan here in Michigan loaded the truck on the trailer took it to Cecil County for the Modular Shootout and went 12.60's no bottle with exactly the same set up.

12.20 is really hauling, but I saw where SVT99 (Jerrod) with the HALO group in Houston run a 11.97 couple weeks ago on a 100hp shot. These times just keep going down. Wish I didn't have to worry about tearing something up on mine, if I did, I would be walking to work or maybe I just need to grow some bigger b@lls! LOL

Thats pretty sweet!!

Do we have any other reports about JL, Sal, Lightning Bob etc...etc...etc...?????

It is amazing what altitude & Temp can do....unfortunately

I wonder how many people have the JL cooler and if that is showing some positive results compared to those without???

later

I didn't mean to bash Spiro just stateing some facts on air density and how it effects an internal combustion engine. The JL cooler is a great idea, the cooler the air charge the better the power.

No racing yesterday, tech and setup. Rained last night and a little this morning. If rain stays away they should be running today. Temps are lower today but Humidity is high.

How much cooler do you want the air? He is spraying NOS into the intake which is freezing. If the air outside was as cold as the air he is raming into the motor they would not be racing due to freezing conditions. Cold air does work, I proved that with the "HOOD" I ran at FFW. But with the nos he needs more oxygen in the air, barometric pressure, and less moisture, humidity to make more HP. Bring on the heat with a high barometer and less moisture and the NOS is a killer. All Spiro needs to do up there is install a smaller fuel orfice, like a 75 shot and leave the 100 shot NOS alone. With the conditions up there now, he is running a little rich probably. He will get there, I have faith in Sal.
