Dyno's are ok i guess,

When it comes to whether mods work or not they dont mean crap(kinda) take throtttle bodies for instance.They mak HP on the dyno but not one person has had that that mod alone make a differnce at the track.Take chips( the single best mod for a lightning)They make around 30 hp on a lightning RW and guess what,30 hp doesnt knock off 5-9 tenths but chips do!!
Now take air filter kits and then go verify it at Truckin magazine.they do not make much if any HP but they make a big difference when used with a chip at the track.

I guess what I am trying to say is stick your dyno up your butt cause they are only good for Braggars not for whether your truck can take on a C5 at a stoplight!!

I've done a before after dyno for both mods to my truck. My chip made 36 hp and the filter made 3. I'm planning on purchasing the PSP lower pulley next and will dyno before/after with that as well. I expect it probably won't show a huge horsepower increase but it should increase the area under the curve, which will help at the track.

Some things will not make a lot of HP on a dyno because stuff like airfilters need to have the force of air from outside to help flow more threw the filter. That kinda sounds messed up, but maybe yall will understand what I am tring to say
