I've got a supercharged 94 lightning, last year I blew the rear and decided to replace it with a 4.11 locker 9 inch. However I did not realize that the sensor in the old 8.8 controlled both the trans input and the speedometer. I thought it was just the abs which I didn't need. So now the trans is in linp mode and there's no speedo. And help or ideas, can the computer be fooled, is there a trans hookup to send a signal to the computer. Thanks for the time eric benson.

 

Eric, this might be better addressed at the www.nloc.org board. There are a lot more Gen 1 guys that hang out there and may be more help.
