Post Best April Fools Car????

My friend actually clarified what I've never know about myself...I like what he calls "april Fools Cars". Cars that look box stock boring, but smoke the ****ens out of most anything on the road. Which April fools car do you think is the Bomb *** (and no lightning picks, cause we know it Owns the April Fools segment).

I'm in for an Audi RS4 or Volvo V70R with IPD mods.

I've got a 95 Saturn SC2 with a 10lb SC/50 shot of NO2. Haven't had it out to the track yet (still tuning the engine), but it should be good for 12s. Not a bad April fools car...

Great topic! My initial vote goes to the Infiniti Q45. I know, I know - big, heavy luxury car, right? Let's throw out some numbers...

Q45: 3801 lbs / 340 hp = 11.18 lbs/hp
L: 4760 lbs / 380 hp = 12.53 lbs/hp

It's all about power to weight, my friends. Gimme some more time though, this topic is fun!

Cool

Does it have to be stock?

My friends gutted CRX with an Integra Motor, and a few other goodies.

For stock I'd say, the Typhoon/Syclone combo...

I'm thinking the Toyota Echo or the Pontiac Aztek. No, not exactly fast, but they must qualify for some kind of April Fool's Day prize?!? Wow, it scares me that such vehicles could make it past the upper echelons of a company.

I know I'd never let something like them out my front door.

Will take a whole lot more than a 50 shot to get a Saturn into the 12's. My sleeper was a 69 VW bug ran best of 11.97 street legal.

I would say ANY Chevy product, because its a joke just keeping one running without getting to know the tow truck driver by first name.

My best "sleeper" was a 1981 VW Rabbit Diesel
with a cap on the back.

The cap hid a 460 FORD auto running to a shortened rear end.

Radiator with electric fan blew to the side, headers exited under the bed, engine was "almost" streetable.

Most fun I ever had, idiling at a light with the diesel ratteling away, wait till the yellow, punch start on the 460 and drop it in drive....they never had a chance, all they heard was a roar and bye-bye.

at the next light, there is the little old diesel ratteling away....

And I would knock back over 35 miles to the gallon hauling around the 460 and tranny.
0-60 on the diesel was about 40 seconds, on the 460 about 4 seconds, she ran low 10's untill the torque started twisting the car to death....

was LOTS of fun while it lasted....

Glad I survived that expermement...
