Lingenfelter Chevy Pickup
Lingenfelter puts together some neat stuff, but I would expect a 475hp/500tq full-size truck to run better than 13.3 @ 102mph.
Something stinks here.
Someone also needs to tell Car and Driver to go drive a chip/filtered '99-01 L. Then they'll report back that the Lingenfelter C3 is a waste of $20k.

Yeah, for $53,500, they can run with us; I've got no problems with that. But, hey, probably not one will ever be seen to run with anyone 'round here. The guys that buy this thing will park it and polish it and tell stories of how they would beat an L. It's weird; with just a chip/filter those Lingy times can be matched. And for a bit more cash, any L can get 12's pretty easilly. And, the L would get better mileage to boot.
Whats better still with the Lightnings is that you can buy them at a Ford dealer. To get the Lingy performance I think you have to first buy the C3, send it to Lingenfelter for the modifications and while he is doing that he is also voiding the warrenty. I'll take a slightly slower L over Lingenfelters rig anyday and spend the extra cash left over for a daily driver.

Wonder how fast it would be if he got rid of 4wd and put it in a shortbed. Although i would still rather have the L if I could afford it. Hell I'm too cheap to put on a new cat. or get my ac fixed in my bronco and I live in the 7th circle of hell (a.k.a. Dallas).
A few months ago, he did a twin turbo 2500 series chevy 4x4 truck and got into the 12's for 60K. although he is a genius, i couldn't afford to have him working out of my checkbook

yeah I was... we went there after we got destroyed in our softball game. I actually pointed out your L in the parking lot and told my boss he needs to give me a big enough raise so I can afford one. And that woman working the counter at F&H when you first walk in was hot. I love being in Texas.
Yes too bad she was like 16. And too bad she was the hottest thing in the bar. It is a double edged sword when the only good looking females there are the staff.
I was sitting at the bar right behind you guys in the Softball uniforms

We'll probably be there next Wednesday... I'm number 36, my name's Jason if you see me (I'll probably be the one that looks all pissed off because we lost again). And she did look kinda young.. but not that young, and definately not hot enough to get throw in jail for. I'd have to say this F&H is a lot better women wise then the one by Bush and Midway.
While I'm not hot for that specific vehicle, I do lust after powerful 4wd streeters in general... Probably just because my 60's still suck.

LOL, thats not a factory, not even close so you can't compare it to the fastest factory production truck in the world.
"Our C3 started life with the standard 325-hp, 6.0-liter V-8, and before the Magnacharger system was bolted on, Lingenfelter performed a host of engine mods aimed at increasing airflow. It's all part of the 6.0L SC package, which goes for $14,500. That price includes installation, but shipping to Lingenfelter's shop in Decatur, Indiana, is extra." (C&D)
As far as i can see, the factory 325hp C3 has a long way, about 14,500 ways to even begin to compare with the performance of a stock L!
When Chubby has something rolling off it's line that out performs my L, let me know

There's finally a Chevy pickup faster than an L... of course it costs around 50 grand.
