Isn't that rest stop just before exit 11???

I'm not sure but when me and other 4 Vicsters were comming back from Baltimore Maryland Crown Vic meet we stopped at the last service area before Garden State Parkway exit on the Turnpike.... I believe GSP exit is 11 and the service area was like 3 miles before it... I could be wrong but I know in general they don't put too many rest stops on top of each other certainly not withing like 2 to 5 miles away.... Anywayz just wanted to let ya'll know...

Also, does anyone wanna buy or know someone who might be interested in a 1992 Ford Crown Vic Police Interceptor.... I got one fully loaded beauty that I can't wait to get rid of so that I could start driving my 1996 Garage Queen.. I mean CrownVic PI....

Also, would someone grab a digi cam for this meet? I wanna post all of the pictures from it on the site that I made: http://members.spree.com/business/ga...ootersmeet.htm

Thanx

If your coming up/from south Jersey, it is after Exit 11. I stop at Roy Rogers usually when I come back from E-Town. When going south the stop is before Exit 11.

my bad on the Turnpike knowledge, I guess I don't travel there too much to know... he he!

I think we got plenty of room for everyone and anyone to come!

I've just showed this meet's web page to two of my buddies and they think they would and probably will come! One is from New York one from Central Jersey... Both have 1996 Crown Vic's Police Interceptor, one blue one white and both have their cars loaded with strobes!

So if you guys want to do a cruise from HoOtErS to just about anywhere, the caravan will be absolutely no problems!!!

We'll have a PI go upfront with strobes and airhorn going and another PI in the back with the arrow stick instructing other motorists to stay out of our cruise!!!

I THINK this will be lots of fun!

before anyone says, you're crazy about the strobes thing..... I must say that the ex cop cars that might and will be there will not use any of that stuff cause its OBVIOUSLY illegal... he he I was just giving a hypothetical.... heh

Ok, rest stop on the turnpike. Look for the truck with four KC's on the front, shouldn't be too many around.

sprhck - I don't know where there are rest stops on parkway North, I think there is one past the route 1 exit. I can ask my friend who travelled up the parkway everyday.

Hey Parkway North will take you right up to HOOTERS!!! If you take exit 163 you'll be right on top of HOOTERs!!!

Also, for those who would like to take GSP to come up check this site out: www.parkwayguide.com I think thats what it is, if that doesn't work go to www.geocities.com/jerseyvics/index2.html nad click on the Parkway logo on the left side menu!!!!

This site has everything from exit information to speed traps to unmarked cruiser plate numbers to look out for!!!

Check it out, and yes Wayne Hooters is no more than 10 to 30 mins away depending on the traffic, e-mail me for directions if you need them!!!

What mile do you hit the parkway at, one of use can just pull over and wait for the other.

I can pick up the parkway earliest from 287/440, or rt1, or near metro park, or rt 27 or rt22 or ....

The earliest pickup for me would be 287/440.

Email me dontblameme@yahoo.com; we can discuss something more in detail

Sounds good.

Anyone else want to meet at the rest stop after exit 11 on the turnpike (heading north)?

r81stl1n - how about you, we only live a few miles from eachother.
