Wink Let Me Put My Head Back On

Just went for a ride in a 427 AC Cobra from down the street. "IS THERE A CHRIOPRACTOR (sp) IN THE HOUSE?" My neck hurts, my back hurts, my ribs hurt, and to top that off I haven't had an orgasum like that since "WET DREAMS" of the 60's. GGGGEEEEEEZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ! That thing is awsome. More power than a speeding locomotive, able to leap past anyone, and all while still on the ground. No! Its not Superman but it would make him a good car.
Now my truck feels like some old rice burner. I want something faster and quicker and more torque'e.

DRIVE! Did you say DRIVE? I can't imagine even trying to hang on the the steering wheel with one hand while under power and shifting gears. If it hadn't been for the 5 point shoulder harness, I'd be in the street somewhere!

Not me..... I am done.

Unhappy

My worst defeat was at the hands of a 427. it made my race against a viper gts seem competetive, which it wasn't

I know a guy who has a 427 Cobra replica. He has all the stuff the real Cobra has, including the 427 dry sump engine. He let me drive it once with him in it ofcourse, holly sh*t that thing is sick. I only got on it about half way, I can just imagine what it would have been like if I really got on it.

Someday I will build me one of them too maybee put a lightning drive train in it, LOL.

Thumbs up

Undy-I'll take you up on that, I am only about 2 hours away. I was looking at an ERA replica with the Nascar 427 4speed combo in Ocean City the other night. Beautiful car, I think I have found my next project!

You can get your very own replica here... This place is only about 25 mins from my house and I go by there every once in a while. Needless to say, I'm drooling everytime I pass the place!
